FAQ

  • What does ‘made to order’ mean?
Made to order means that I only make to your demand. There is nothing sitting on the shelf or hanging on a rack that I just package up and send, there is no room in my house for that. When you finalise your order, I get my scissors and measuring tape out to cut, sew and trim each item individually. This helps minimize wastage and is part of the slow fashion movement reinvigorating an appreciation and respect for the people and processes involved in making clothing. For sure this can take time, but it’s sort of like a slow cooked stew or pasta from scratch, you know it’s gonna be good! Make times can be found at the top of the home page.
  • Can I customise my order?
YES! Of course. Pop me a line to discuss what customisations you’d like to make to one of our existing styles. Add frill details, novelty buttons or even supply your own fabric for a truly unique number. I love it when I can work creatively with others to make magic happen. Sometimes, but not all the time, there may be an additional charge depending on the customisation.
  • Do you do more sizes?
YES! I can. Send me a message to discuss what size you’re after and we can go from there.
  • Can I rush order?
Sometimes. I totally get that time can just run away, especially when life involves little ones. Pop me a message and if I can sew your order up without upsetting others, I will. There may be a queue jumping charge but it just depends on how busy things are.
  • Can I supply my own fabric?
YES! Flick me a message with a pic of your fabric and we can go from there.
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Make times can be found at the top of the home page. Once I’ve finished making you items then local NZ shipping typically takes 1-5 working days from dispatch.
